Brush cleaners used to clean conveyor belts are generally divided into two types, one is electric brush cleaners, also called active brush cleaners, and the other is mechanical brush cleaners, also called Unpowered brush cleaner.

Both of these cleaners use brushes to remove the residual materials on the belt. Thanks to the characteristics of the brushes, the cleaning strength is high while the cleaning strength is soft, and it can clean up to dead corners without damaging the belt.

The electric cleaner is driven by a motor, so how does the unpowered cleaner work?

The answer is simple. Unpowered brush cleaner is the power source is the friction between the passive roller and the belt. It is fixed by the connecting device. When the belt is running, the friction force is used to rotate the transmission roller and the belt, and then the brush roller is driven by the transmission arm to rotate. And the rotation direction of the brush is opposite to the belt running direction, so as to clean the materials adhering to the return belt.

The unpowered brush cleaner can be applied to all types of belts, and the belts can basically be worn and scratched. The use process is safe and reliable, with low failure rate and long life.
